Another trip for me down memory lane. In the mid 1960's I was living with my grandparents on the north side of the City and my wife to be lived off Earlham Road. When I walked home I passed the White Lion( now the Wig And Pen) and if you went in the side door there was, like most pubs in those days, after hours drinking. It must have been in 1967 that suddenly Bunny appeared behind the bar. I cannot remember whether he had taken over or was just helping out but I recall he had finished being a full time player and I am sure turned out for a local Club. He was always talking about his career both good and bad. A few months later the dreaded wedding bells tolled and I was whisked off to pastures new.
Sorry forgot the important bit. RIP Bunny - you were a really nice man. If you are running a Pub upstairs keep the side door open for me when I join you.

Hi everyone, could whoever is running the FPL league this season share the league code with me? My brother would like to join if possible...

Cantwell has been named as club captain at Blackburn Eovers for this season. Glad to see him having a positive effect on their dressing room

Webber now Sporting Director for 2nd tier Japanese team RB Omiya. Maybe not the overseas assignment he had in mind a few years back when he flagged his interest to do the role in Europe.

Maybe not, but it looks as if what he's taken on is not dissimilar from the task he faced with us and tackled so successfully, i.e. transforming a club currently ill-equipped for the top tier into one with the operational and infrastructural wherewithal to challenge. Given that the club is now owned by Red Bull, it could turn out to be a great appointment for him.

Interesting article on the BBC website "Has modern football accepted the Sam Allardyce playbook ?"

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cd9ykn45xz2o
Something dreadful is happening. I watched Arsenal v Man City on Sunday and had lost interest long before the end. Last night I watched Millwall v Watford and had lost the will to live by half time. It was like watching City under Wagner playing City under Manning which brings me back to Carrow Road. Whatever is happening there? We were warned by Bristol City fans but how can a Coach be that inflexible!! Which comes full circle back to Allardyce

Disagree, on that. Match should be resumed from the 79th minute with the score at 1-0 with Ipswich only able to field 10 players.
Otherwise why is Greaves still having serve a suspension for a foul that never occured?

Blackburn v Ipswich to be replayed.

Correct decision
But the straight red card stands and Greaves will be suspended for 3 games, including against us.

Edit: I think it stands because it had already happened. It may be the same for yellows, but I'm not sure. Blackburn not happy about it:

"Whilst Blackburn Rovers respects the processes undertaken by the EFL and acknowledges the complexities involved, the club is extremely disappointed by the outcome, which fails to take into account the significant advantages Rovers held at the time of abandonment. Blackburn Rovers is committed to upholding the integrity of the competition, however we strongly feel that the decision to replay the entire fixture does not accurately reflect the circumstances on the day."

Zoe Webber formed part of the EFL panel that made the decision on the match.
I understand she abstained in the vote. Probably had no other choice really?

I thought it was just a 1 match ban for Greaves. Town fans seemed delighted that he would be banned as he has made a poor start to the season

Yeah makes her look a bit silly if she’s the only one voting against and she can’t vote in favour of Ipswich, Fans aim enough hate her way simply because of who her husband is
