Morning all. So as we approach Xmas, your thoughts please on how you see the season progressing & why. Will we make the playoffs or go up automatically? What will the top 6 be? A thinking drinking Thursday
I think it will all depend on what happens in the January transfer window, if we can get a decent right and centre back, spending 2/3 mill, and maybe get Johnson in from lesta (he wants out) we stand a good chance of auto's
Morning you guys No snow down here yet kissa, although its now forecast. Think we may just fall short of the play offs again if we dont stenghen. I dont fear any team in the league to be honest, I just feel a few will improve after christmas and the chances are we wont.

Well we are most defo limping our way through the season with some good performances and some ruddy lucky results.Topped with several awafull one's. But where still in a good position to make a challenge. But i'll stick with my early season prediction on a season of dissapointment and failiure in the play-off'snot even making the final.. As for January window....Come on lads this is bates...do you really think he is going to splash any money out then..????...Sorry i dont think he will spend a penny.. On a brighter note......Its xmas time (silly season so he might prove us all wrong but dont hold yur breather waiting)..

How i think the top 6 will finish: 1)West Ham 2)Southampton 3)Cardiff 4)Leicester 5)Reading 6)Blackpool Bates needs to strengthen in January whilst getting all the contract issues sorted with players like Howson and White. If we don't go up you would fancy that Snodgrass would leave due to his own ambitions so we will go backwards again without any serious investment.

United: Lonergan (Cairns 45), L.Turner, Bromby, O'Dea, Parker (Byram 70), Thompson, McCann, Trialist (N Turner 60), Vayrynen (Payne 70), Nunez (Poleon 80), Forssell. OMG, Parker played 70 mins, and didn't get injured....
Thing is Elland Parker is a decent Left back when fit! Will he ever be fit? How long was his contract for? 20 years?lol
Parker was truly awful at the beginning of the season, our worst player easily. I'm not saying he's actually that bad but he's nowhere near good enough to be worth the hassle with injuries.
I question pre-season to be fair! going to Scotland was it worth it? going to Norway was it worth it? Our players weren't fit enough! Obrien Parker Kissa Snodgrass Connolly Just to name a few! Really needed a good pre-season and we obviously didnt have it
Badge, with the badge cull in progress, shouldn't you be in hiding? As to everything else, I think SG needs to decide who will replace Howson for the next month or so & what formation he is going to play. Me, I think 4231 still works with Nunez as the attacking midfield. Thoughts?
