Yeah it's one of those wtf moments. I think his record on Iraq is a millstone around his neck. But he has been a middle east envoy for a number of years now. I don't really know what to make of it tbh. If it's a collaborative venture with Arab states and the UN with the aim of setting up proper governance to then hand over to the Palestinians, then it could just work. It would also be more 'agreeable' to Trump I guess. Not me mate, I gave up on this debate long ago. I'm concerning myself now with what Russia are up to. NATO are preparing for the next stage, and it's not just hardware but troops as well, so just waiting for it all to kick off now. I hope for the sake of this country and other countries it dosen't, because millions of people will not know what the **** has hit them - the struggles that will come with it once we start to engage in this war. Best that can happen is that some concessions are made regarding some provinces that would likely have voted to be Russian if they'd ever been given the option e.g. Crimea (not saying they definitely would have but it was likely)...
