Another open interview from BBM. Interestingly suggesting Zac is a top quality 9. Also bigging up his pace and the intensity of his repeat sprints. Discuss. https://tv.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/videos/d547db41-67cb-429e-8777-88c8af02ba02
Our Barnsley game postponed......................... https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/match-postponed-barnsley-vs-cardiff-city
We're going to have a bit of a backlog. Need to stay in touch with the top few so it's worth having the games in hand.
Why Robertson hasn't had the nod yet. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...lex-robertsons-cardiff-city-absence-32547441#
BBM said the same about Kellyman. He says he has the intensity for short periods, but not for a whole game. BBM uses a few key phrases, overly so it feels sometimes. Potential is one, intensity another. It took me a while to get my head around much of it. He is quite insightful in his interviews. No rhetoric or words with double meanings. A lot of our previous managers were quite closed, distrusting of the media. With BBM you get it all, warts and all. It was interesting to hear him speak about Joel. An 'animal' in training, but lots to work on. He talked about positioning and body shape when receiving the ball. Working on fine detail with individuals as well as tactics with the squad. Robbo's interview was good as well.
Second all that Remote. BBM’s insistence on maximum fitness levels has undoubtedly helped us this season. When you lose the ball you have to go and get it back and we have seen that more this season, along with a high pressing game. Coupled with our much improved playing style, and a young team, we are building a squad for the future. Okay there will be bumps along the road, but sticking to our game plan will see us good in the end. No more hoof ball, thank you.
More proof of it was needed that BBM’s team selections are influenced by training standards. ‘Box to box’ could Joel Colwill at last be the Jordan Mutch type of player needed? ps Tom Adeyami was hinted to be Mutch’s replacement but he was non league standard.
