Enjoy your golf mate. All I would say is this Labour government did not create record immigration or the economic mess that it inherited, partly due to Brexit. However, it has one hell of a mess to clear up not of it’s making.
The underlying problem, which Trump may be partially right on, is manufacturing. The economic effect of 'globalisation' means that the UK as with the USA now does not manufacture much. It's China and other far east countries. Being originally a Jarra lad, most folk I grew up with worked in the shipyards, tough specialised jobs that required training and paid relatively well. None of these jobs exist anymore. Too many jobs are too low paid as a result of this, I am sure we all know families where both parents are working, and Universal Credit has to be paid to them to make ends meet. All politicians are complicit in this outcome, that has happened over decades. Anyone who thinks F agash has got the answer to this are likely to be disappointed. He went to one of the most expensive schools in the country and was too thick to get any 'O' and 'A' levels for university. Currently if I get the drift if Labour's policy for creating better skilled better paid jobs. Is to build lots more houses needing skilled building tradesmen. Plus the new energy infrastructure, ie new national grid, nuclear power, technology hubs should create better paid jobs. Also the NHS seems to rely on overseas nurses and doctors, why? Whether this is or will work fcuk knows.
