Well let’s worry about one at a time! One team. The majority of teams will sit back and be physical against us. We need to be able to be effective against them.

Good shout. That could actually do him some goodDowns looks like someone who has lost his bottle. Snatching at everything. Get him out of the limelight for a couple of months in the u21s and get him scoring.
It was on. He was behind the passer.2nd goal looked off btw
I think Edwards is too good a manager to fall into that trap. He'll have watched tonight and the Hull game and he'll set his team up in what he seems the best way to get a result.Be interesting to see how Boro set up at the weekend. Form they're in you'd think they'd look to take the game to us given how vulnerable we've looked.
Which will suit us if it stifles their natural game…I think Edwards is too good a manager to fall into that trap. He'll have watched tonight and the Hull game and he'll set his team up in what he seems the best way to get a result.
Surely Scienza starts? His energy was impressive. If we play like that with Archer, Ross and Arma in the champ and we could score.
They'd take a 0-0 right now I guarantee it. That doesn't do us much good at all. We must turn up on Saturday and play well. Tonight was good but pointless if we don't build on it.Which will suit us if it stifles their natural game…
At least we have something to build onThey'd take a 0-0 right now I guarantee it. That doesn't do us much good at all. We must turn up on Saturday and play well. Tonight was good but pointless if we don't build on it.
I was thinking through the season. Def would like to see Scienza Saturday.Surely Scienza starts? His energy was impressive.
I dont even remember him touching the ballAlluded to it earlier but when a bloke of that size offers less physical presence than Archer then it's a big concern.
Really? He lost it a lot!I dont even remember him touching the ball

He did, and it usually went to the opposition. He literally couldn’t trap the ball.I dont even remember him touching the ball
Agree, but I thought the movement of the front 3 especially in the first half was excellent, and with Downes looking like he may be getting to grips with things, breaking up play, will help. The one little concern I have going forwards is that we played well tonight in a game which suited us in that we could press Liverpool high up the pitch. Now we have to play well against teams who will sit back.
Nope just seen it again and I reckon VAR would have disallowed it. I know it was really close but his forward leg was offside but off course its Liverpool so ITV don't even debate it. It wasn't an obvious "not offside"It was on. He was behind the passer.
