The one little concern I have going forwards is that we played well tonight in a game which suited us in that we could press Liverpool high up the pitch. Now we have to play well against teams who will sit back.
Alluded to it earlier but when a bloke of that size offers less physical presence than Archer then it's a big concern.

Play like that in the championship, we get promoted. There was an identity. We pressed, moved the ball quickly.
Yes Liverpool pressed higher meaning we could counter, be we actually tried to pass it forward when up field when they were behind the ball. Another day we would have won that with our chances.

One team. The majority of teams will sit back and be physical against us. We need to be able to be effective against them.

Some fantastic individual performances tonight. Clear MotM was Adarma. Worked his bollocks off getting back all game.
All the CBs did very well. Quarshie’s best game. Scienza and Jander both look decent.
The less said about Downs the better. Absolutely awful. The very least I expect of the striker is to put pressure on the opposition CBs when they have the ball. Didn’t do it once.

I just want to see that energy on Saturday. Moments where we spark into action, we have barely done it all season.
Downs looks like someone who has lost his bottle. Snatching at everything. Get him out of the limelight for a couple of months in the u21s and get him scoring.
Be interesting to see how Boro set up at the weekend. Form they're in you'd think they'd look to take the game to us given how vulnerable we've looked.
