Burnley 5-0 last time against us, they went up, we go down rock bottom…..we’ve been lucky in draw but not this time eh?

Should we stick Burnley on the end of this thread title Sparks?

Expect changes to tonight’s team and hopefully a run out for Robertson.

Hoping for a strong team tonight. Expect Chambers to start. Not the time or place to experiment.

Strong team. Salech on bench and Robertson still not in squad.

Well, that was far easier than expected so far.

You can tell we're playing a team from higher up the league, they are giving us far too much time and space to play and are just trying to "out football" us but failing miserably at it.

It's hard to tell if we're playing exceptionally well or it's just Burnley being terrible???

Probably somewhere in between I guess???

Like the Spanish Inquisition, I didn't expect that.

Well done City. Just what was needed after last Saturday. <applause>

Thoroughly deserved irrespective of Burnley’s team selection.

Bagan, Chambers, J Colwill and Fish especially impressive.

Who next? Our west or north little cousins <whistle>

Wigan lost at home to Wycombe. They won't be feeling the love at the weekend.

Sod getting some second rate club... Let's have the cheating/jammy Scouse bar stewards at our place!!

It'll be nice being the first team to beat them :emoticon-0105-wink:

Had a bit of time this morning so just watched the full 90.
    Good performance to a man.
First thing of note was Zac and Cian starting on the opposite side to usual so that the fullbacks overlapped not underlapped. Not sure why BBM made that change but it looked more natural.
He did swap things late on with Tanatswa coming to the left and Willock to the right. Usually they play on the other sides.
    Subs made an impact.
    Chambers had a big game.
Bagan looking the man we'd least like to lose. A lot of pressure on Giles if Bagan was out.
It really is enjoyable watching us play at the moment.
Last 5 mins not looking pressurised. Not dropping deep, just playing their normal game. OK, a couple hoofs up field, but to relieve pressure at the right time.
It would have been interesting if the ref had left the last play run it's course. I think Salech would have been in.
A good rebound from defeat on the weekend. Need to see a performance like this one against Wigan.
