    If there is anyone out there who isn't a **** and feels that a donation to a cancer charity is actually a decent thing to do, PLEASE give to Macmillan Nurses instead of any research charity, the amount of money given to theses charities that actually goes to any kind of research is beyond a joke, between all the cancer charities, none send more than 25% of money raised to research, whereas well over half of all money given to Macmillan actually goes directly to help pay for the nurses.

    I'm not saying that research is a bad idea, it is clearly the only way we'll ever find any kind of cure, but the charities themselves are now just money making organisations that piss away most of the money sent to them on administration and silly wages for those who work for them, very little ever goes where it is intended.
