Seven points from 5 games and mid table. When you consider we should have got something from the Fulham game (imho) that’s better than id have hoped for.
Fulham's third goal tonight was very similar to the Gudmundsson one last week. Ethan Pinnock (of Brentford) tries to duck under a cross and it hits him in the shoulder and loops in to the top corner. Two of the luckiest (or unluckiest depending which side your on) own goals you're likely to see in back to back home games for Fulham. Same corner of the same goal too. Unbelievable Jeff.
One of my guilty pleasures is reading and watching opposition content when we win. Wolves fans feel that we aren't any good but they made us look good because of how bad they were. It's a common theme that teams seem to suffer a drop in form when they play us. They don't consider that maybe we caused that drop in form. We needed some teams to struggle this year and so far there are a few, Wolves, West Ham and Villa especially but I think Brentford are teetering and I wonder how Forest will fare under Ange Postenoclue? We're getting our wish so far
If we continue to play like we are then so far we look better than Wolves, Brentford, Burnley, West Ham and Fulham. We might be better than Sunderland, Everton and Forest. We'll be competitive.
Evening all, a great 3 points today and our new players showing what they can do. I was going to comment on the matchday thread, but just before kick off I get the message server does not respond. This has happened multiple times now on matchdays. I tried on another device with a different browser but same result. Anyone know why? Traffic overloading site?
I had a quick look and there are dozens that haven’t had a postin two years. With the advent of social media bull sadly forums are no longer as popular as they once were
Agreed but I’d imagine this forum isn’t on an all singing and dancing host. I was just trying to offer a possibility I remember long ago when I used to dabble with websites what a huge resource hog forums are, just the way they extract data behind the scenes
