IMHO this fixture is very interesting for judging the manager. The last two times Spurs have : - lost - conceded four - scored at least two We will see how the end result changes wrt all the above.
Won't happen but I'd love to see us start using 4231 as a formation. We have the players for it. Vicario Porro Romero VDV Udogie Palhinha Bentancur Kudus Bergvall Simons RKM
Surely we’re due something at Brighton? I know we have won there but all I can ever remember is the shocker under poch(?) where Hugo made a mistake and broke his arm at the same time very early on. The beginning of the end for Jose with the tepid 1-0. Ange conceding I think 8 goals (?) in his two games down there. Seems to be when it goes wrong there, it goes very wrong! I don’t think they’re as strong this season though with maybe the massive sales not being replaced with similar ‘buy lows’ anymore?
The back four largely pick themselves, and with the relative comfort of the Doncaster game midweek I'd only be inclined to maybe start with Udogie. Need strength and energy in MF so based on Bentancurs less than impressive display midweek I'd go with Sarr, Palinha and Bergvall. Upfront Xavi definitely needs another outing and I'd start with Kolo Muani I think. Kudus seems more energetic than Johnson so he gets the nod as well. PS. I swap keepers as well. Kinsky needs some minutes and I would like to see more pressure on Vicario, who still fails to convince.
Kudus might need a rest as he was looking a bit leggy Tuesday night, though resting him for the Doncaster and Wolves games seems more logical
He was reportedly not training with PSG prior to his loan being confirmed Likely explains why he was training with the academy players during the international break
Too close to call I guess...We had looked really bright and bar a ridiculous decision to give a foul against Kudus we might already have been ahead. Udogie has started brightly, but his commitment forward possibly led to their goal.
Odobert needs to start doing something. Not been impressed with him at all since he’s been at Spurs. Think an academy kid could have offered the same as he has so far.
