Competitive gsme. Everton have genuinely improved but are still too focused on humping it rather than using the talent. We are too focused on counters rather than keeping it. Counter when a counter ris on but playing 20% balls is giving the momentum to them. Bradley has done ok. Kerekez has done ok. Everton will get their chance here. We dont really look like it until we are level. Then we actually play with intent. As long as we play with no intent we give momentum to the opponents. The second we concede and atsrt going sides cant get near us.

Unfortunately its been more like vs Bournemouth and Newcastle rather than vs Atleti. In the 2nd half we've only really had the Wirtz half chance in open play where he needed to go first time instead of cutting inside.

Yes. The intent needs to be there to scare these sides. When you are not arsed to run back you dont go and then the options become so limited someone has to play a poor ball or go back. There's enough subs and quality thst if thry are a little tired they can come.off. It was wirtz out there who wouldn't go and the ball ended up as a nothing ball at isak. Only on the park.
