I think he did ok on Saturday for an hour or so. Not brilliantly but acceptable and he really can’t hide in a 4-4-2 if we’re calling this a 4-4-2. But Wrexham were awful. Big step up for him and all of them tomorrow, assuming he plays. Maybe he’s up to it and maybe he’s not but no one is really smashing the manager’s door down for his spot. I hope we’re positive and stick with the formation, for its flaws. Wouldn’t surprise me if he brings in Hayden instead or plays the same XI but more of a 4-3-3
I think the bit of chaos introduced against Charlton suits these players. If we win and Madsen plays great. If we lose and he plays it’s his fault.
With the real dream of it being his fault we’re 1-0 down before blowing Stoke away with a third glorious 3-1 win after the match-changing subs.
Safe travels to all going. Pissed off I can’t go or even watch it. Will sneak a few highlights on my phone I’m sure.
Had a skim through a Wrexham forum after the last game, they were giving Saito a lot of praise. Will it be 4 in 4 for king Kone?
