We did well in the first 25 minutes but then were outclassed for the rest of the match, no shame in it, it's a step up in quality. Gordon had to score that but that's what happens when you have a winger playing striker. We gave Pedri too much time and he ran the show. Our off ball pressing is great but we need to be better at keeping the ball, sometimes we need to recycle the ball and wait for an opportunity rather than trying to force things straight away, Barca gave us a bit of a lesson about that, we can learn from it.

I think Hall phases out Trippier this season. While it took him a while to get into the team, he was an ever present until his injury. I would be very surprised not to see Hall against Bournemouth as Tripps looked like he ran out of steam against Barca and will need a rest.
I don’t understand your thinking on this one to be honest. He was bought as a project player, was one of best players in the team and is only coming back from a nasty injury. He knows he has to bide his time, but think that time will be soon personally.

Tino is a sensational player. So much to learn but I’d be really worried about losing him if we have a poor season. Him and Tonali are our elite players.

If you agree with popular opinion they're your friends and you'll get likes and a pat on the back, but if you don't you're scolded... I refuse to play along in those type of circumstances, so I go against the grain sometimes for fun or simply in defiance. It is getting to the point where I don’t come on as much now and I don’t say what I want much now. I think we will struggle against Bournemouth as they are a good side. Howe is also making it a bit predictable. We are plucky Newcastle who give it a good go.
