There was an online campaign to get people to vote for him, as many weren't happy with him getting the elbow.
I watch that Help I bought a village now and again And every time I think **** be how hasnt one of them died doing some of the work they attempt This daft twats up a ladder that’s not tall enough Patching up with stones No safety hat no boots Irritates the **** out of me Maybe should be on the grind my gears thread
Just watched a documentary called 'life of crime 1984 - 2000' on Sky which follows 4 people heavily involved in crime and drugs in a rough part of New York over those 36 years. In lots of ways they are very easy to dislike but you sort of want them to change and make things of their lives, unthough you see how unlikely that is. Contains child neglect, drug taking, domestic violence and crime. Brilliantly made and worth a watch. Extremely sad to watch.
just watched count of monte cristo sam claflin for the second time. one chubby wooden actor all the way through doesnt spoil it. 3 good ones make up for it.
Just had the70s classic 'Secret Army' appear on my dodgy box - gonna be some binge watching of this during the winter!
Channel 4, last night - Trump vs The Truth; was like watching a head on collision, you try to tear your eyes away, but you can't. I have no other words to describe what I watched, it's truly staggering!
Missed that but it sounds as entertaining as 'Commander in Cheat' by Rick Reilly. Pretty lightweight but funny and astounding (as in how does he get away with it) at the same time.
This had some light hearted in a ''I can't believe he just said that'' way - a lot of it though was total mistruths put out to push his agenda or to belittle an opponents. There could be no room for interpretation, it all came from the mans mouth to TV cameras.
Is it worth a read? I like Rick Reilly’s social media stuff and it’s on the ‘get someone to buy me it for a present’ list!
It's an easy read, you'll learn nothing you didn't already know but it's comforting to have your dislike of the bloke reinforced. I kept it in the downstairs loo, one or two chapters a visit.
I’m in my bog that long these days thinking of putting a telly in there, I’d be able to watch war and peace I’m on the pot that long lol…coincidentally I’m in here now writing this… having a number 2 writing to you… I’ll get me coat, obvs wipe me arse first … lol

A bit late as its on now and already half way through. Sky Arts on freeview showing Queen in concert 1974.
Just watched an old episode of Parkinson interviewing David Niven on BBC four Just brilliant How we could do with proper, long, interviews like that nowadays with an interviewer who knows how to vary questions to get the best out of the guest, and a guest who is happy to give genuine answers.
Parkie chatting to born-raconteurs, like David Niven, was great viewing - my personal favourites were when he interviewed Peter Ustinov.
