Agree. Villa will be very very hard. But if we do it would be massive. We will start to find out how good we are going to be (or if the close ones will start going the other way) edit: the fact that we are so competitive in these games is incredible
Money to be made on this game I’ve been studying the specials and odds for hours Mags have gone favourites, which I just don’t see. I know the Mags are a good side and get a lift in home games but Barca have threat everywhere and for all the Mags have a quality CM setup they don’t have a Pedri. Pedri doesn’t mind getting kicked and bullied, he just cracks on and does his thing.
I’d almost rather they’d started better mate. They need a lift and a game against a projected bottom 6 team will be one they really focus for. We gonna get a real idea again of where we are. We passed a great test against a very good side on the road last week, this is another level up. Villa man for man are better than Palace, there’s no question.
Not upto date with Spanish football. Could someone tell me a reason not to go balls deep on Barca at 2/1 or possibly double chance at 4/7. 2's seems big to me. TIA
It is a big price mate. Barca were evens yesterday CL is a big market and they’ve been backed out no doubt by heavy bets on Toon. Price on Barca is superb. Evens would be about right as any English club away is though but to be getting 30% extra on that is superb. Strong chance of a Barca penalty so I’m leaning on Barca/Lewi anytime just waiting for teams before I back owt. Always a good boost in Sky is 2 SOT/2 corners each team each half. Odds will come out with the specials for that but usually 11/1 - 30/1 and anywhere in that bracket I’ll be backing £20 for this one.
Thought it was big myself. One of the lads at work mentioned it on the way out and I didn't believe him. Even if the toon show up 4/7 Barca/Draw is big. Think I'm going to go in one way or the other. Might wait for the teams but if Yamal plays it will crash.
Right and someone told me they've not scored yet. Chances are one will go in for them soon, and it will be hard to get two. However, maybe we are better than we think we are. If we start creating a bit more (Mundle?) could take off.
Is Pedri not out injured along with Yamal? Edit: Ignore me, it's Gavi that I had read was out injured.
Backed Barca 2/1 far too big. Haven't had a bet in ages as nothing has stood out. There's massive value in that price. No way should Barca be 2s against the 6th / 7th best team in England. Probably get turned over now like
Borussia Dortmund appear to be growing increasingly frustrated about the situation around Jobe Bellingham, who is yet to prove worth the money paid to sign him from Sunderland. according to BILD, who cover the situation today and the growing frustration at Dortmund about the constant talk around the former Sunderland man. They say that Bellingham continues to be the dominant topic at Dortmund this week, despite the 4-4 draw madness against Juventus in the Champions League. The focus was on Bellingham as he was left on the bench for the second game running, leading to more questions about his €30.5m move from Sunderland this summer. At the moment, the midfielder hasn’t lived up to that and is an ‘expensive worry’. This has been well detailed over the last few weeks and BILD say Dortmund’s bosses are now extremely annoyed about the ongoing debate around him. Sebastien Kehl is the latest to have commented, telling reporters “we worked very hard to get him and we don’t need to talk about him every three days. At the end of the day, we have a very, very large squad, which gives the manager several options.” Im sad to hear this. Really hope he can get the monkey off his shoulder, (Jude) and grow his own identity and worth
Monaco getting humped. Missed an early pen, conceded by Mignolet and then he saved it. 3-0 down at HT
