I was shocked that Djed Spence was the first Muslim player to be capped by England. Fair play to him and a day to celebrate.

I thought that there were other England caps who were Muslim too. I thought Luke Shaw followed Islam having been introduced by Paul Pogba.

 

I think you are right - maybe he is the first Muslim born player?

 

I am still sceptical about thus. What about Raheem Sterling ? Three still seems a ridiculously small number in contrast to other European countries.

From next season, the September and October International breaks will be merged into one three weak break.

Utter madness. Who needs an international break that long, so soon into the season and so soon after the world cup?

 

On the positive side, we’ll be 3 weeks unbeaten.

 

Or on the negative side, it'll be 3 weeks without a win

 

True, but we dont need a break for that.

 

Fine with me. Makes more sense to have one longer international break than 2 in consecutive months.
