We have to borrow to try and stimulate the economy. Ultimately that will govern our public services. It’s a difficult task given what this government inherited. I agree with the polarisation, given the recent arson attack and Aimes and Jo Cox. All progressive politicians and decent Tories need to stand up to extremism. It’s one thing to say you want mining. Not even a geographical reality in most cases. Be careful what bullshit you believe. I’m from a mining family and there were good bits but many were happy to do something else. It’s easy to paint a picture of the halcyon days but you need to get beyond the fantasy talk. .
