Don't imagine the latest findings will surprise anybody - the only positive to come out of this is that it will galvanise the cause for the 2 state solution ... Israeli claims that obliterating a whole territory, displacing millions and denying acceptable levels of humanitarian aid equate to a defensive action can only be convincing to complete idiots ... including the USA ... but I don't think even the prime idiot elect in the Whitehouse is actually buying it now ...

The Commission documented cases of rape and sexual assault of male detainees, including the use of an electrical probe to cause burns to the anus, and the insertion of objects, such as fingers, sticks, broomsticks and vegetables, into the anus and rectum. One victim who had been detained in Sde Teiman told the Commission about severe mistreatment, including being suspended from the ceiling so that only the tips of his toes touched a chair and beaten with tools for hours. During the abuse, a metal tool was inserted in his penis repeatedly until his penis started bleeding, and he fainted. The victim told the Commission: “They took me into an interrogation room and suspended me by my arms behind my back. My toes barely touched the floor. A male guard inserted a metal stick in my penis on several occasions, about twenty times in total. I started bleeding. The pain was excruciating but the humiliation was worse.” Just one example.
The report found that sexual and gender-based violence – which has risen in frequency and severity – is being perpetrated across the Occupied Palestinian Territory as a strategy of war for Israel to dominate and destroy the Palestinian people. Specific forms of sexual and gender-based violence – such as forced public stripping and nudity, sexual harassment including threats of rape, as well as sexual assault – comprise part of the Israeli Security Forces’ standard operating procedures toward Palestinians. Other forms of sexual and gender-based violence, including rape and violence to the genitals, were committed either under explicit orders or with implicit encouragement by Israel’s top civilian and military leadership, the report said. I think we’ve long established that I don’t care about those disgusting Jew-hating fanatics and wouldn’t have thought twice if the lot of them were blown off the planet on October 8th. That they’ve been spared is a credit to Israel. There wasn’t much humanity from the people openly celebrating October 7th on the streets of this country nor the mincey Kumbaya world peace enthusiasts quietly whispering “but actually it’s resistance”, so no I don’t care one bit.
Not sure what's so wrong about wanting peace in the world... and dismissing such ideals as being 'Kumbaya' is rather pathetic and, frankly, beneath you ... There is absolutely nothing wrong with a country or regime defending itself against terrorism or foreign aggression - but using that as an excuse to obliterate and then seek to consume, by genocide, a territory into your own lands is plain wrong ... I'm optimistic that the current resolve of the UN will eventually see an independent Palestine, including Gaza, established in the middle-east and existing peacefully within the borders prescribed ...
