Yeah, I'm stupidly trusting the overwhelming consensus of the scientific community over a few random people on a football forum. Weird that
You have zero idea on people's knowledge or experience, and the 'consensus' is a bit of a myth. I have spoken to some that were included in that, who certainly do not agree with it.
Obviously adding 9 billion people won't help but the planet is and has going to change things all on its own.
I already mentioned that in my earlier reply. There are so many issues to pull from errors in data and conclusions in that, it'd take too long to explain, especially as it seems you're set in your belief.
Yes, you said the consensus was a myth. Regardless, think what you like, you already do. I am not an expert on the subject, so I will defer to the tide of opinions of the people who are, and like I said earlier, not a guy on a footy forum who "spoke to some people".
As I mentioned, you have zero idea of other people's knowledge and experience. It's amusingly ironic that those you dismiss as 'some people' just happen to include some of those you cite in support of your position, which you readily admit is one of ignorance.
Its not my position, it's their position, which I am accepting based on the consensus as I'm not an expert. If you have a font of knowledge and experience that can sway me in the other direction, then please feel free to share it so I can break free from what must be a deep hivemind conspiracy.
I remember when I was at South Coates primary school, we were told another ice age was incoming. fast forward 20 years I was trying to buy an off plan apartment on Victoria dock, couldn’t get a mortgage as Vicky dock would be underwater within 10-15 years 30 years later….still dry using science to scare monger…..same as Covid science
It can be interesting to see which of the biggest noises in the climate story have bought very expensive beach front properties, with banks being quite happy to back the loans, and insurance companies covering the risks.
Your earlier replies are smugly suggesting you DO have knowledge and experience in the field, so if that is the case, it's strange that you'd refuse to pass on information that could enlighten me from my position of ignorance. As I've said to you under previous disagreements, show me some info or some sources and my mind can be changed, but they never arrive.
I have zero interest in educating you. You seem very settled in your position of ignorance, so it would be rude of me to disturb you.
That's an interesting one, as the experts blamed the UK emissions for deforestation in Sweden, until it was pointed out that an extension of the back trajectory of the Met data showed the actual sources were in mainland Europe, especially Germany and Eastern Europe. They crossed the south coast of England and then headed back over the North Sea.
