No he’s 6th. I’m 23rd and only 30pts off top. Do my wildcard after the transfer window closes and the internationals are over. Some ****er always gets injured. Probs put Alexander the Great in my team now.
This is the problem now for me…hence why I took a season out from here and the prediction leagues just start playing too much mental gymnastics regarding what you need, what you should have done, what to change blah blah blah. Every game you have a player in just becomes a mission in willing your player to do well even if you hate the team quite a dilemma and cba with it when I don’t play this or prediction leagues it’s just more chill and peace during games tbh
Tales of an FPL **** up Weeks 3 and 4 Week 3 went the usual way Halaand captain and gets **** all. Bang average all around and it just isn't happening for me. Week 4 just changed the GK because I had Trafford and went with it, Vicario in and clean sheet. Salah captain and that was looking a **** choice again until Burnley helped me out. Halaand with a brace. Van Der Ven goal and clean sheet 83 points, first decent haul of the season but I have some players who are either injured or not playing so changes needed. Looking at my leagues and overall I've had a decent start, no terrible scores but I've used bench boost and wildcard. Onwards onto glory.
I'm only 100pts off 2nd Never really played it before so ****ed up the start cos I basically changed my whole team after gw1 which cost me like 50pts. Heading for the top now tho
Tales of an FPL **** up Week 5 Sticking with Wirtz 0 points with Wharton 7 points on the bench and I've still no plans to replace him. Time will tell if I'm a complete idiot. Spurs GK and defender so not good, but tbf 60 points is a 2nd week with good points and bringing in Isidor was a good call. Salah captain and I also have Halaand. It's not a bad start for me at this point. Coming up in Week 6... Possible triple captain.
Tales of an FPL **** up Week 6 76 points. Difficult to call myself a **** up right now but let's dive deeper. Halaand triple C went well and this is the main reason for my score but elsewhere there's a lot of 2 point players. Bournemouth still doing well but other than that I'm having a **** week if I hadn't done the TC. I still have Wirtz and the Salah situation needs some thinking. Not sure where to go with my team, it's a good start and I need to build on that.
