totally agree…dignity & pride would result in a massive FU response. Would this be his 3 or 4th stint if he goes back?
Or, off the back of a 3 month holiday, they've begged you to come back to work, presumably increased your pay and your stock has never been higher. You can waltz in there like the cock of the walk, do what you like and if it doesn't work out then you're no worse off than you are now, only your redundancy will start afresh.
Blades can't lose... been paying Wilder for doing nothing, now they'll be paying him for doing something...
If I was him I would be asking for at least a 50% wage increase. If not, they pay him and a new guy at same time. Saying that, I would be inclined to tell them where to go and have 3 months off and then take his pick on a number of vacant roles when chairmen get in panic mode and start sacking. Someone like Wrexham.
If I was him i'd tell 'em to piss off, he's gonna be in, out, in out, nows the time to shake it all about.
If They are so desperate to have him back he will be able to name his price. I was going to say he can ask for double what he was on before and he'd get it
So the blades don't have a manager but are paying two to sit at home watching telly until they get a job. Wilder could get a job tomorrow may take Selles a bit longer.
I think Selles will end up at West Ham and it will really drive home to the blunts what an absolutely ridiculous knee jerk decision this was.
Tell you something for nowt....We can call Wilder all we like, but he's a fan, who will always wear his heart on his sleeve. No doubt he'll install a new sense of purpose and get them out the brown and dirty..Sadly. ps....Espirito-Santo will end up at West Ham, shortly. Like this time next week.
Nope, pretty sure it was sportbible or it was one of the bigger sports pages anyway. Didn’t even question it when I saw it. Probably just one of those click bait headlines they all use nowadays.
