Nice edit, memo to self, never lend him £7.5k, he'll want £7.5m back. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Wrexham v West Bromwich Albion. On ITV listening to commentary of said game I heard “the crowd are booing former Cardiff City player Karlan Grant every time he touches the ball!” Masky thought surely it hasn’t come to this?
If they are trying to spend their way to the PL - £10 for Broadhead. £2m for Coady. £2m for Keiffer Moore. £8m for Conor Doyle. £5m for O’Brien. £6m for Ben Sheaf. Possibly £2m for Zak Wyner then why have they got Danny Ward as their goalkeeper
......Oh dear........... https://www.thewrexhaminsider.com/n...-parkinsons-wrexham-future-before-qpr-defeat/
Oh dear, what a pity, I am sad. I said a few weeks ago that he was wasn't equipped to manage in the Championship and handle all the egos of the players bought in. I think all the incomings probably destroyed the team spirit developed in their years climbing the league ladder so rapidly.
Having watched the brief vid of the Gog's 1-3 defeat at home by QPR, how slow is Coady over the ground? I accept our Chambers isn't exactly Ussain Bolt, but Coady makes him look like he is - just have a look at their breakaway 3rd goal.
Was having a chuckle to myself yesterday... Apparently hardly any support coming from the stands for the team and plenty of fans calling for the managers head already... By all accounts he's substandard and useless!! Really don't recall too many complaints during the last few years.... So much for humility, an appreciation of how far they've come and an acknowledgement they're at their highest and toughest level for years... Bloody plastic big time Charlies most of them..... Soon go back to supporting the Scouse clubs when they start to drift a bit..
The phrase "Too much, too soon" springs to mind. Now it would be really interesting if the Hollywood superstars got fed up or couldn't handle the lack of ongoing success and decided to limit or even pull their funding. I can't see the club affording the wagebill on crowds of 11,000 and fewer if they keep on losing. Could be a big Sam style firesale in January.
Sadly I think their "non-match day" revenue is enough to keep them going, even if their crowds dwindle. It's going to take the next "fad" club to come along and take their TV audience away... And it will happen eventually, like all reality TV it will have a limit to the shelf life, and if they've not progressed further by that point then the advertising etc will start to slide too... It'll take a couple of years but their model is on a permanent knife edge.
Thought our first encounter with NEW WREXHAM would’ve been a championship match (hopefully), but should be an interesting game at least! Good for Welsh American soccer!
Such a dicksplash you are BFB, I was taking your pis* pal…..I dangled my bait and the silly Billy of Pyle snapped it all up! No offence intended!
