The next 6 league games

The return of a classic fred but with a bit of a twist. Instead of solely predicting how many points you think we'll get, I think it'd be interesting to also see how many points people are expecting us to get.

I think most people would agree that by the 11 game mark most of the new boys should be settled in and we'll hopefully see a bit more of Will's stamp on the team.

The 6 games are:

Swansea (H)
Bristol City (A)


For me we should be aiming for 12+ points here. If we're serious about promotion then Hull, Derby and Swansea simply have to be wins and I think we should be aiming to win one more too.

In terms of what I think we'll get then I'm going to go with 9 in the form of two wins, 3 draws, and a defeat.

 

These are important games as we need to build some momentum.

Prediction. I think Hull is the turning point.

 

Hopefully, will make the 9 hour round trip worthwhile!

 

On paper, the next set of games are far more winnable than the ones we have had. I will join the doom mongers if we don’t get 12 points from these games.

 

Agreed. Boro is huge as it'll be a chance to reduce the gap between us.

Win the next two and it'll really be something to build on.

The only one I think is questionable is Hull away, we may get a draw there. Rest I’m confident on

No, we should be looking to win all the games in this run. I don’t expect us to though, and I’m predicting 5 points.

 

Ah, possibly unclear but what I mean by expectation is what you'd consider the minimum target should be for the games.

Not how you'll expect we'll do as that's basically the same as a prediction.

 

Ok well we should be expecting 4 wins and 2 draws in that case (Sheff Utd and Bristol City as draws)

We won’t though and will get 5 or 6 points

 

Think it will begin to click next week, but can see us struggling in few of these - an optimistic 11 points

I could see us losing at Bramall Lane now Wilder is back. Fixture is looking much tougher than it was yesterday.

 

After today’s performance, I not expecting more than 4 points, ie draws in the 4 easier away matches. This is with my positive head on.
