That's the xG that was communicated to the ref before the game.

Tactical coaching , this must be a novel idea to the squad

Clive Allen called it "zonal making", more like no f---n idea!
Really, is this a premier league manager coaching this?

Really good to hear Frank's comments, especially re defending and the importance of keeping clean sheets.

Really refreshing to hear a coach talking sense after two years of Ange's melodramatic pish.

It does need to be said that Conte and the ubermensch were equally resistant to analytical coaching

Definitely couldn't tell during Conte's second season...

Yesterday was a relatively easy win against a poor side.
I still think that we can learn a few things from it, though.

We lack width down the left and creativity through the middle.
Simons playing centrally could help with the second bit.
Starting a left-footer in either position down that side should sort the first.
None of the players played badly though, by any means.

Tel isn't capable of playing the lone striker role yet.
He also got booted solidly a couple of times and was limping.
Shouldn't be an issue, as we have Solanke, Richarlison and Kolo Muani.
Dane Scarlett should also be reintegrated or loaned out somewhere.

We won't get an apology for the disallowed goal.
Compare it to any Arsenal set-piece from the last two years, though.
All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.

It's been mentioned already, but most of our set piece deliveries were of a really high quality. Kudus and Porro were already known quantities, but it looks like Simons has quite a cross on him.

Makes a nice change after years of watching Eriksen and Kane hitting either the wall or the first man.

With the increase in money, time and analysis, the game is seeing more and more coaches for specific aspects of the game.

TF is looking for every advantage he can get. I don’t see him ignoring half the squad, so that he can run some players onto the ground. I couldn't see him indulging the likes of Kane and Eriksen, in allowing stars to criminally waste free kicks and corners, over and over and over again.

If we're to be successful, we need to maximise EVERY aspect of the game, not adhere to some ethos that will never be rewarded.

He really could be the prince that makes up for all those frogs that Levy was intent on kissing.

You can tell it was dull at the end. MOTD finished their highlights immediately after goal 3. There was still a third of the game to go.

And yes, I do realise that we were 3-0 up and coasting against 10 very unmotivated players, but wasn't it nice to see the high quality of subs available to bring on?
Particularly, the feeling of relative comfort seeing Micky replaced by Danso.

It is astounding that this is a noticeable event, and it is, it would seem obvious that when all these professional coaches are sitting on the bench watching the game it would be the norm. Surely, pro. coaches are being paid to find ALL possible ways to score goals. For some coaches it seems to be an exercise in style management. Two things to achieve, score goals and stop the other side from scoring goals. That surely means you have to adapt to the team you are facing and if you don't do that what are you for?
I think, and hope, we have found a coach who is not a prima donna. A coach who studies the games and his players and tries to put us into the best situation according to the opposition.

Shocking but not surprising. He’s had a lot of issues with alcohol and depression.

    He's ****, but I wouldn't pay much attention to ref's Wikipedia controversies.
They're only edited in if there's a suitable uproar and that only happens for certain clubs.
We get appalling decisions all the time and they're glossed over.

Paul Tierney's entry doesn't mention anything at all.
Nothing about Jota kicking Skipp in the face at Anfield, then scoring the winner, for example.
Michael Oliver's entry is similarly error free, barring one resulting in threats to him.
They're both utter dogshit and have ****ed us over repeatedly.

I don't comment much on such stuff, as I'm not sure
how much could be construed as "confirmation bias" .

I'm not certain either as to what the "source data" item
for such events should be, in order to allow objective
    data analytics to be attempted.
