Over the last few months, I've been doing tests to see if I've got Asperger's Syndrome (it has been known in the past as high-performing autism) thanks to my ex-wife who seemed to think I do have it. As she was the one who managed to diagnose that our youngest has it before the pros thanks to doing the SPELL training as a Cub leader, it was worth looking into. It has been confirmed today that I haven't got it, it's just that there is a large discrepancy in how certain parts of my brain work in terms of processing and using information (very good, especially numerical information - just as well as I'm an accounts assistant aka bookkeeper) and communicating it (things like talking on the phone to someone I don't know or writing e-mails to clients that have to be worded a certain way - bad enough when the first language of the client is English but when it's French and I'm conveying the info in English...). Can't wait for the look on my ex-wife's face when I tell her!
Don't worry mate I'm all over itthe oil will be making it's way to Paris tomorrow, you never know her indoors might massage my joint so to speak
Ooh i couldn't do it! I know a lot of people who have it though and they swear by it...i just couldn't do it! Give me chemicals, i'm far happier with drugs! lol lol
Im glad it didnt hurt Al. I could never do that!! I am Trypanophobic as a result of a blood test gone wrong when i was a few months old. The Nurse stabbed the needle in my hand but instead of hitting the vain she hit the bone!!!
reminds me of when Master Hornette went into hospital when he was 2 , for an operation on his eyelid. The anaesthetist decided that because the nurses had told him he'd probably have a mask over his mouth a little jab in his hand, she wasn't going to do either of those things and rammed a tube down his throat...bloody private hospitals!! He was so distraught, he was flailing like a frightened animal, and took forever to go under..and when he woke up it took me 45 minutes to calm him down. Oh, and she asked him his favourite colour..he said blue..so she said..."i have a green tube i'm going to stick in your mouth"...stupid woman!! Grrr...still angry! lol...i should get over it, it's been 16 years! lol
oh yes, he's fine...he was fine when he left, it was just a very traumatic experience...thankfully it didn't affect him in any way!
yep, he was very frightened. He would have been fine with a warning, like he was with the other options, but it was too much of a surprise
Dan ref your Knee , same advice as given to Kiri Rest up as much as you can for the next 2 or 3 days at the very least ,give it a chance to heal up some!!
I cant mate. I have to do the parcels with mum today and tomorrow. But i will rest it over the weekend. Its not too sore today actually, I thought it would play up today, but only a little soreness.
