Guys calm down. It’s just a game of football in the end. Nobody should die or be injured by it. I do genuinely worry about what is happening to people. however saying that I will be sat in a pub in Portsmouth watching this match so I hope they behave
Sorry but I have to disagree with this. Might be true of their fans from the likes of Fareham etc but there's a big difference in the cultures of Southampton and Portsea Island. Their obsession with myths is a good example and all their faux bravado. Us Sotonians don't need all of that and have that more quiet self assured confidence. They also have one of the highest scumbags to fans ratios in the country which we clearly don't.
Said this back on page one but every single fan going has a part to play here. Keep the noise levels up regardless of how it's going on the pitch. Atmosphere isn't just songs either, need to celebrate every tackle and surge forward, and boo the ****s constantly. They're coming into our city and we need to make them realise they're neither liked nor welcome here. UTFS
