Hope it's one of those curry sauces that glows in the dark and stains everything it comes in contact with
No gerkhins oooop north...just bloody awful curry sauce, mushy peas and pickled onions. I can't be doing with fish 'n' chips and no gerkhin...it's not right. Oh...and no vinegar. Just salt for the chips, otherwise they go soggy. I'm a fussy bugger...you may have noticed.
So a comfortable win against an opponent already so dejected that they forgot today was the home tie of their season cup final.

Great result fantastic performance well done boys. A thouroughly disciplined team performance and as the commentator said Frank has worked so hard in making us strong out of possession which we were appalling at under Ange in the prem last season. We look so physically strong nowadays most of our team are 6 footers plus . We look such a threat on set pieces . Once we can get Xavi settled in the prem and playing in the ten and hopefully Muani raring to go I think we can genuinely be fighting for top 4/5. Standout players today were Bergvall and Romero. Bergvall is such a talent and to go with it he’s an absolute unit. Always looking for the forward pass and move. Sarr very good again and Palinha was the most important signing ( after Thomas Frank ) we made in the summer. At last a Specialist DM and a powerhouse in midfield. Villereal at home Tuesday will be a spectacle and then a very tough game away at Brighton. Finally again, just loving Frank we look so well prepared and tactically aware. 1 goal conceded in four ( albeit we should have conceded 4 against Bournemouth ). Exciting times……
I don’t dislike vinegar. I have the same issue with coating chips in gravy, mayonnaise (yuk!), satay sauce, etc. I just don't undestand putting something wet onto something that you've cooked in a particular way, solely to make it very crispy.
Better not mention I put soy sauce on my fish and chips along with the salt & vinegar It's basically tempura anyway
I have nothing on my fish and chips. I can't stand the smell of vinegar. EDIT: except on pickled onions
Well that was rather more fun than I was expecting. Shame we didn't go for the jugular we could have really murdered them! But we have a lot of games so I understand that the game was won so why not make changes and run down the time. We played ok they are are awful. You can tell that it was all rather too easy as the thread is more about food than football. Lashings of salt and vinegar on my chips please.
The fact we spent the last 20+ minutes nursing the ball to save ourselves for Villarreal on Tuesday was probably more brutal than tonking in a few more goals
When was the last time we were so in control in a game that we spent the last 20 minutes relaxed, calm and just knocking the ball around?
