Great football player , bit of a **** but anyway let's get to the point. When will we know if Suarez will get a ban for the middle finger incident and if so for how long? Will he miss our game on 30th December , because that would be awesome. Cheers.
The hearing is over 2 days, probably find out by the end of the week. This is the FA and Liverpool football club we are talking about so it will probably be a 3 to 6 match ban.
I doubt he'll get a ban for the finger. But his racism hearing is this week. We dont know what will happen though. Big Andy and Bellamy can but the goals past you instead though, so don't get to comfy. Who, and Jose Enrique.
We haven't had too many goals with Saurez in the team thus far so maybe his absence may spark some goal scoring with the added responsibility added amongst our other attacking players. It worked alright vs Chelsea in the CC. I am honestly more concerned about Lucas being missing from the team than Saurez.
Do you have any stats to back up their fantastic goal scoring record this season? No? Just the 3 league goals between them this season then? Alrighty! Although obviously I'm not getting too comfy as they are capable of scoring goals , Bellamy especially. Don't see him being banned for the finger but he could get a hefty one for the alleged racism, if found guilty.
I don't understand how they can charge him though , it's not like there's video evidence of him saying it right? Just a frustrated **** like Evra throwing his toys out of the pram. And I would be surprised if he doesn't get a ban for the middle finger as you just can't do that no matter what kind of abuse he was getting. It happens every premier league game and it isn't as if they were offensive or anything. Players like Adebayor and Bellamy have received 10x more abuse than him in their career yet they always behaved (on the pitch in Bellamy's case).
I can't see Carroll scoring in this game to be honest, it's like the whole Torres and "it's my destiny to score against Liverpool" situation. Newcastle will up their game against Carroll and will only frustrate him. I would be surprised if he even started. Same happened with Bent and Rooney rarely has a good game at Everton. Players seem to score against their former clubs when their move was a bit more under the radar...kinda like Stoke vs Spurs last weekend with Crouch and Etherington having a stormer.
I see what your saying but other player's have done the finger thing and got off with a fine, they usually fine them and warn them about their future conduct (if it's their first offence of that nature) but that's only my assesment of the situation and the fa are not really consistent about anything theese day's so he could well get a ban for that too.
Fact Bellamy will probably score though , always liked him when he was at Newcastle until his feud with Shearer and Souness.
In fairness Adebayor did nearly start a riot when he ran the full length of the pitch to mock the Goons fans.
I wholeheartedly agree , but from our point of view , it didn't really help what was vastly turning into a **** season.
Oh yea forgot about that , maybe Adebayor was a bad example. Then again they were singing songs about his dad washing elephants and his mother being a whore , which could be considered racist (the elephant part). Fulham fans just chanted "Cheat , cheat , cheat" towards Suarez , which hasn't proved to be much too of an inaccurate assessment during some parts of the season.
Yeah can't really argue with that I just think that I'm quite happy to dish out a bit when I go the match so I never have a problem when a player gives a bit back. It's just part of the theatre of it all. The occasional middle finger never hurt anyone....said the priest to the choirboy
