There should have been a red card when Barnes was through. VAR CHECKED IT and still said no.

The VAR ref is infact a championship linesman

He chose to be an assistant ref rather than follow the refereeing path with the pgmol

Simply not good enough for the top division even with a tv monitor in front of him

 

It was a clear denial of a goalscoring opportunity and as such should have been a red.
