It's no ones fault. This site is purely for entertainment. You are the only one to be upset about me undertaking the thread at 13.44pm. No one else is bothered, so get back on the posters list, and stop blaming other site contributors for not posting.
Yeah sorry got totally overwhelmed at work... new management who trust nobody so you're questioned every 5 mins, very draining, totally forgot I was on.
Totally understandable Buddy. Only one poster was wound up about it. I stood in for you, (much to a certain posters annoyance). As we won that game, it's your turn for the next one at Coventry.
Bure has had 3 threads so the round Robin is defunct, it's whoever starts the thread first from now on . It's not a big deal
Grow up you idiot. No one on here agrees with you. I stood in for Zogean_king, won, and have passed the baton to him.
Not at all , I've decided to do all the match day threads this season . The old system where you patiently wait your turn was boring , why bother with fairness when you can just keep losing & keep starting new ones.
It's not upto you to decide. Everyone, other than you are happy with the system. Create your own site, and do what you want. Everyone else please carry on using the current system.
At half-time in Cologne, Germany and Northern Ireland are drawing 1:1. Serge Gnabry put Germany ahead after just 8 minutes, but they couldn't capitalise on the lead and the Irish equalised from a corner soon after the half-hour mark, the unmarked Price volleying high into the net at the back post. The Irish boys have hounded the Germans from the kick-off and Ruairi McConville might well be in action later as the starting eleven tire.
Nobody watching the Serbia--England qualifier then? England 0:2 ahead at HT. First goal scored by Kane from an obviously rehearsed and beautifully delivered Rice corner, the second scored by Madueke running on to a quick fire through ball, leaving defenders trailing before lifting the ball over the advancing keeper. Great play. Tuchel answering his critics in no uncertain terms.
Better performance last night by England. Difficult to rate the opposition, but it was certainly more watchable. Some of the younger players are blending in with the more established players. Enjoyed the match, and that hasn't happened much in the last games. Let's hope that Tuchel is moving in the right direction
Serbia are currently ranked 32nd in the FIFA World Rankings, sandwiched between Wales (31st) and Norway (33rd). That would put them 17th in European rankings. But they have some good players -- Vlahovic (plays in Serie A for Juventus), Ilic (plays in Serie A for Torino), Lukic (plays in the EPL for Fulham). As is often said, however, any team is only as good as its weakest player.
Ben Godfrey and Alex Matos are in the Sheffield Utd team at Portman Road tonight. At HT, Ipswich lead 1:0, a fine strike by Jaden Philogene doing a decent impersonation of Borja Sainz. Godfrey is playing at RB, presumably in an attempt to counter that left side threat from Philogene and Davis. Blades look pretty toothless in attack, and Palmer in the Ipswich goal has been untroubled. Now 3:0 after 65 minutes, after another Sainz-like cracker from Philogene and a clever goal from Hirst. Wouldn't be surprised if this was the end for Selles, especially since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is watching on from the stand.
