Syd. I understand that the player sales negated some of the losses. But prior to that we were losing circa 400k a week. It’s a semantic issue. I’m not the accountant so I’m not being overly precise with the numbers

We were losing about 350k a week excluding player sales. Why would you exclude player sales? And even if you do it's still well short of 500k. It's not semantics it's just idiocy. If you're not being overly precise why not just round it to 1m a week?
Because the original comment was in relation to cash flow. Which is relevant if the player sales hadn’t happened yet. Which they hadn’t.
Eh? A set of accounts is at year end. Or are you genuinely saying our expenses were evenly split over 52 weeks? Might also be worth pointing out a significant portion of our losses were amortisation of player contracts which have nothing to do with cash flow. And even if they magically were 350k a week of cash losses (they weren't) thats significantly less than 500k. You can keep trying to justify the comment or you could just acknowledge it was rubbish. You've already admitted you're not an accountant..
