Apologies, Ince came through after their Prem jaunt. It was Keith Southern, Charlie Adam and David Vaughan in the playoff winning midfield. Charles Adaminho.
Phil Brown linked with another lower league job. https://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk...ures-of-michael-gash-and-luke-steele-5310766#
I’ve had a Google and it was Alex Baptiste Not South American at all And he was a cb but the way Holloway played he stepped into the midfield Really good side to watch
absolute shocker of a decision, just an excuse to try squeeze a few more games out and a bit of extra money. If you can't come top 6 out of 24 you don't deserve to go up
He's got the job - they're currently residing bottom of the National League North, the same division as Kidderminster, the team that sacked him a few months ago, for not getting them promoted
The rugby league manage to strangle the premise of 'a top six place' to qualify for the Play Off's out of a league of twelve clubs for a full season even if it means some clubs playing each other times and others dipping out on fixtures altogether because 'they cannot raise a team'. Also always wondered what RL burnt in Australia to called the internationals games between them and GB 'The Ashes'. Does anyone know? #mickeymouse. .
West Ham ban half and half scarves. At their up and coming game against spurs anyone found wearing an unofficial half and half scarf will have it confiscated and not returned.
One thing's for sure, you can bet your last coin, that we(the paying punter) will never be asked our opinion when it comes to structural decisions that affect our sport. We've fast become an insignificant sideshow.!!
Would be nice if that was because half and half scarves are a terrible idea and are only worn by arseholes, but sadly it's a temporary thing to try to stop Spurs fans getting into home seats.
I didn’t know donnarumma he gone to Man City!! Why have PSG let him go?? Only 30 million it’s a bargain
You've definitely got a valid point - but we had this argument in the 80s when the play offs were introduced. I think the majority of fans would now object if we went back to 3 up/ 3 down/ Personally, whilst I agree with your logic, it gives a club like ours a increased chance of top flight promotion and should decrease the amount of dead rubber/on the beach type of end of season games and performances across the board.
Imo, the current approach strikes the right balance, plus just having 4 teams in 2 x semis and 1 x final works well. Most teams have something to play for right up to the last handful of matches.
Would prefer to see the second bottom team play a play off final against the team in the Division below that won a 3rd v 4th play off, and 5th and 6th (for example) get nothing.
They burnt a wooden ball shaped trophy presented to Alex Murphy in 1979 and have encased it in a gold urn made from melted down medals won by the 1984 touring side from Australia.
