This looks to be the most negative game of football I've seen in a long time. Serbia might as well just come out and say they want a 0-0. I'm not watching this ****.
Theoretically this is the hardest game of the group. If it ends 0-0 it is hardly the end of the world.
Thought England played well yesterday. Passed the ball around quickly, tried to get behind them and were positive. Was actually a decent watch for a change
Chelsea face 74 charges over agent payments Chelsea have been charged by the Football Association with 74 alleged rule breaches related to payments to agents between 2009 and 2022. The charges are primarily focused on events which occurred between the 2010-11 to 2015-16 seasons. The alleged rule breaches concern agents, intermediaries and third-party investments in players. They'll just sweep it under the rug like they did Man City's 130 rule breaches. Just like with Man City there will never be any punishment just a pretend hearing for show.
Big difference in that Chelsea volunteered that information whereas Man City have tried to use every obstacle possible (Not often I defend Chelsea!)
Yes, and I do think they should have a measure of leniency for that... Although you can't get more lenient than City getting off without even a sentencing. (They will probably get a slap on the wrist some time deep in the future when they think no one cares anymore)
probably because UEFA did for Palace , for an offence that needed a quick decision , and it's the FA dealing with Chelsea and City
It's damaging to the PL if the club with the best record for the last few decades is found guilty of cheating. The PL doesn't actually want City to be punished as it would harm their reputation. They're just keeping up appearances pretending to care. Palace being kicked out of Europe doesn't hurt UEFAs reputation.
Also palace broke a rule about double ownership and even admitted they ****ed up cos they gave uefa a info email address rather than someone to actually contact - don’t see how anyone can have any sympathy for palace tbh.
Sounds like Chelsea may be getting a huge fine - it appears the current owners kept £100m back from the purchase after discovering and self reporting to cover potential damages so it seems like it’s going to be a significant amount of money they’re having to pay back.
I read that they can also be given a sporting penalty, or whatever it's called. It always seems like it's dependent on the panel members who are deciding the punishment rather than there being a proper formula already in place.
