McCarthy also played 8 games last season. But against Premier League opposition. And 35 is a prime age for keepers. If anything Baz is too young.

    Reflexes looked fine against Norwich.

So why have City sold Ederson (only 32) and bought Donnarumma and Trafford then? It's not a prime age for keepers. Of course some keepers like Van der Sar and Alisson have been the exception to the rule but while keepers obviously have longer careers, they're generally in their prime in their mid to late 20's.

City have an endless amount of wealth. Can't really use them as an example for other clubs to follow.

Keepers in their mid-thirties are not rare at all. Plenty of them currently in the Prem. Prime tends to be late-twenties to early thirties, so Macca is no further from it than Baz.

Anyway, you're argument was that Macca shouldn't play because of a lack of game time. But you were wrong about that.

To be honest, this stunt is hilarious but I wish the wig had been auctioned or something done that was positive and could have raised money for charity. A great story but a missed opportunity.

Seems pointless sending it back. The person involved obviously got worried about being nicked but he still could be.

I'd have preferred it was set on fire outside the ground on sunday tbh.

    I agree

How about paying a sum to charity to decide how the wig should be dispatched ?

There is so much scope here to raise money for good causes. What about Nivea sponsoring Westwood?
