Are you a flat earth believer too? Despite all the evidence you stand firm in your beliefs. Did you even read the report from the independant EFL committee???

If we were losing £500k/week that would inevitably lead to an FFP breach, unless we were spending at least half of that on infrastructure, which we obviously aren't.

To be fair player trading is an intrinsic part of football, it feels daft to me to include transfer expenditure to make the losses seem bigger, without including transfer income to make it a more accurate reflection!

Fair enough if it's more than one And staff have said they can't pay the bills.

    I'm not under any impression.
Jim and Howden stated they know someone who has not been paid. I've not heard of any others. If there are many, why isn't it public knowledge - it should be.

There may be cash flow problems, I don't know. But hundreds is petty cash and so not really evidence. I once got a delayed payment by six months for renting out a tractor trailer to a wealthy construction company owner. He had a house 10x the value of mine, and numerous high end cars. He wasn't short of cash, just an annoying tight **** who liked to leave paying until totally necessary.

    Agreed.

It wasn't one supplier, and it wasn't merely hundreds. At the time this broke it was reported by Mike White as 'concerns over outstanding debts to suppliers, both locally and nationally' . As Jim has clarified, it's just one of the smaller ones that really annoyed him because it was petty.

I don’t think any non football creditor has been paid at all this year from what I’ve been told.

Best all round in life if you pay your debts and those who owe you pay their debt...It's called principles.

Scunny have a 4k CCJ against them, they knew it was coming and were happy to let it get that far. A previous regime signed a contract, at £800 per month which went on for years, for a couple of washing machines for washing the players kit. When the new board tried to leave the contract the supplier played hardball. :emoticon-0138-think

So presumably those creditors have stopped supplying? Not sure how the club can function if thar's the case, word will have got round, nobody else will want to step in unless they're being paid up front, which seems a bit unlikely.

Some did threaten and the Cranswick partnership renewal was delayed.

As someone else stated, why would they stop supplying if they did eventually get paid when the TV money dropped ? That would harm their own ability to trade. They'll just restrict the clubs line of credit going forward.

Tell you what experts , you ask if you can be the appointed accountants , credit control and purchase ledger controllers , your knowledge of how it should have been run is way more efficient than the clubs and they need your help . Bosses everywhere hold payments back for so many things when it suits , tight funds , seasonal. Lulls , even to people they don’t like !! I’ve seen it all , it’s frustrating trying to do your job beneath it I tell you . I don’t excuse him but there’s only so much repetition on here you can take !!!

Sure but I was responding to a post which said no non-football suppliers had been paid this year.

So these debtors have been paid then? Or haven’t they?

    Confusing isn’t it.

Eventually some of the major ones were paid when the TV cash dropped at the start of this season. They'd been strung along for months until then. Jim is obviously saying he knows of at least one smaller creditor that still hasn't been.

Why would I need to be an accountant when an exec at one of the larger late paid suppliers is a family friend?

If you want to know why there's so much repetition then ask the one who's still trying to deny there's been any financial issues, despite the overwhelming evidence there clearly has been over the last 6 months or so.
