I really like Gnonto and Bogles link up play.

That would be my right side sorted with Okafor on the left.

I like James but thats who I would start and hopefully James can take his chances and play himself into a bit of form

    Afternoon all

I can't read anything much into a marketing dossier if I am being totally honest

James place should be under threat, he has been poor so far and his performances reflect the same as his last stint in the PL

It's why the season before we had big money offers for Rutter and Summerville and yet nobody else was interested in James this season.

Based on what he did last season for us, if he was untested at PL level he would have attracted a large offer

Playoffs aren't fair full stop - it turns a league competition into a cup comp... but it does keep the season live and interesting for longer. If they want to go down the rugby league route they should do it at both ends of the table... or make a final slot available for a play off against the 4th bottom in the prem... like we when lost to charlton all those years ago :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Perri out for min 2 games. Tanaka and Amps ‘May’ both be in squad for Saturday. A few others carrying knocks but sounds like they’ll be ok,

It’s got to be Darlow. Wasn’t he told he was the No. 2?

    You think they'd pass FFP?

I think they’ll cut a deal because the PL won’t be able to follow the money trail. The other clubs you mentioned were easy, they overspent their income. With this case they’re trying to prove that they overinflated their income to stay within FFP rules.

"The way the manager plays - formation, system and the vision that they see - is what really attracted me.“ Brownhill , on signing for Al Shabab

So refreshing in the modern era to see a player moving for purely footballing reasons. Good on ya Josh.

He grew up dreaming of one day playing in the Saudi league. And now he finally gets to fulfil the ambition. It’s heartwarming stuff.
