Morning all. Hospital for me. Something is wrong they're running some diagnostic tests. They've also discovered another suspected condition. I'm now waiting for appointments for further testing for that. I'm really not well at the moment
It was bladder stuff again. I've been diagnosed with stress incontinence but she needs to discuss the other symptoms with a consultant and will get back to me. The other suspected condition is sjogrens syndrome. I'd never heard if it before. Everything is dry - eyes, nasal passages, mouth. I'm using eye drops and mouth sprays constantly and have poor sleep as I end up mouth breathing and keep waking up as my mouth is so dry. I've also got a lot of joint pain but they don't know if that is coming from the crohn's, the arthritis or the potential sjogrens. I'm waiting appointments for a MRI and biopsies and stuff for that.
Keep well @becs - I know this sound slightly barmy but being diagnosed with Bowel Cancer (now thankfully clear) is I believe better than Crohns as at least I had the chance to be cured (I do know not the same for everyone with cancer but you may get my gist)
Bloody hell mate, you are going through it at the minute. Hopefully they can start helping you get back fighting fit soon
I understand where you're coming from. I recently had my "happy 50th birthday, here's a tube to fill" bowel test kit from the NHS. I'm pleased to say nothing was found.
