Well back to the grinder - the championship starts again and a trip up North, to the bottom but one side of the table in Sheff Wednesday a banana skin if there ever was one.

City have started well playing some great football this season and with all due respect to The Wendy's city should be too strong for them and should return back down the M6 with three points.
Anything less will be disappointing.

City will be able to put a full strength side out with no major concerns on the injury front.

Many football fans are heading to London from all parts of the country for the mother of all marches against Keir Starmer and his crackpot government so this will probably have a bearing on the crowd size.

Clearly not happy about not getting the striker in he wanted-says needs to be better organised in the next window-reading between the lines did not let Armstrong go because we would be short if anything happen to Riss.

 

Not going to make him popular, moaning about not getting a striker, and criticising recruitment.

 

I like what i have seen so far. I just hope it don't go like Nige and Manning where he falls out with Tinnion and the Owners.

 

So many disgruntled managers in our history I am awaiting the hammer to drop when he finds out he may not have a choice of who he gets and an even l;esser chance of getting who he wants. I like our play this season and I hope that is down to Gerhard but I can.t see our less than stellar bench helping out when bad times arrive.

 

Other than striker I think we’ve a pretty decent squad. Had last year’s recruitment in the striker dept gone well we’d be in a really good position now, unfortunately it didn’t and now we are tied to Fally and Sincs on good contracts for another 3 years.

 

Give it 10 games, we haven't played anyone above 16th !
