She taught at Wansbeck School , in fact it was my wife’s class . She travelled up by train on a Friday and went home the same day. It’s so annoying to my wife when the media say that only the Head knew, of course all of the teachers knew, the children didn’t neither did their parents. My wife had to stay in the class to ensure the children’s good behaviour. Apparently she was an extremely nice lady.

Allan “Skill” Cole, former Santos and Jamaica football star and manager of reggae superstar Bob Marley, passed away on Tuesday evening. Cole was defined by his prowess as a sportsman as much as his close friendship with reggae superstar Bob Marley. The youngest player to play for Jamaica (against Brazil when he was 15), he was one of Jamaica's most popular sportsmen through the 70's, in addition to his role as Bob Marley's tour manager. Quite some life. RIP Allan
Bad/Sad day for America... a voice of reason and intellect over the wokeness in which we now find ourselves.
Every day is a sad day for America, given the route they've gone regarding guns, it's just this time it's someone prominent rather than a handful of innocents. I agreed with practically zero words he ever said, but he didn't deserve that. RIP, and condolences to the family.
Former BBC Weather presenter Jay Wynne died in June at the age of 56 after a long-term illness, his brother has confirmed to BBC News. Wynne joined BBC Weather in October 2000 and was a regular forecaster on BBC News at Ten. "Jay had a gift for gentle clarity, making his forecasts for sometimes complex weather systems feel accessible and engaging," his brother, Matthew, said in a tribute. "A keen skier, golfer and musician, Jay enjoyed travelling to pursue his sporting interests," Matthew Wynne added. "We will miss his wisdom, generosity and dry sense of humour."
