Just received an FOI response from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) about the criminal damage at Rochdale Police Station after the Manchester Airport attack last year:
The request sought incident reports, details of any investigation, and whether anyone was identified, cautioned, or arrested.
To their credit, they disclosed some information but it's what they blocked that's most revealing.
They confirmed 20 individuals were arrested following the disorder and criminal damage.
But curiously, they've refused to reveal if any of those individuals have been charged.
They blocked this information citing Section 30 and 40 of the FOI Act 2000.
The former pertains to "investigations and proceedings conducted by public authorities".
The latter pertains to personal information.
In short, GMP claims it can’t reveal if charges were brought, because doing so might stop them from reaching the correct outcome.
So they’ve arrested 20 people, but won’t say whether a single one has been charged.
They confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
Yet the question begs:
If these suspects had been of Anglo-Saxon heritage rather than Middle Eastern, would we see the same delays and obstruction?

 

Given they don't seem sure what one is, how the **** can they have an all 'woman' shortlist anyway?

Starmer's people judgement is questionable to say the least. How many of his chosen people have been found to be as dodgy as ****?
