Ange would do well at Forest, bit harsh to sack Nuno though.

Having a Greek wife tells me that two strong minded Greeks will only end one way. Remember EGO is a Greek word.

    Two-year contract

That being said, it was hardly a secret Lard Ass Hogan wanted him, given how chummy they were at the Greek Football Awards a couple of months ago

Seriously though, Ange is a fool to take that gig. He would walk in to most clubs with his record, so why take on an authoritarian c*nt with a history of abusive behaviour?
Weird decision...and you're 100% correct. It will all end in tears - within a few months at best.

Will be a complete change of style to Nuno. Not sure about those centre backs defending on the half way line and is Sels any good with his feet?

Looking forward to watching some Ange ball as a neutral tbh

and looking forward to witnessing a rousing reception on his return to the Lane for our Europa league winning legend of a former manager

Yeah I’ll enjoy watching it from afar. It’s gonna be must watch but probably for the wrong reasons

Expect Forest to take 6 points from Spurs though. <laugh>

Tbh I think this is the only job in the Premier League he would have got because of the Forest owner. I don’t think anyone would have took the risk after last season.

I know he won Europa but it can’t be overstated how bad the league campaign was last season. I’ll be very surprised if Spurs ever have another league record like that again in the next 50 years. Even this season, I don’t expect much but it’ll definitely be better than 17th, 38pts and 22 league defeats.

Postecoglou adopted a far more conservative style to win the Europa League.
I wonder if he may be tempted to do the same at Forest?
We certainly didn't open up in Frankfurt, Bodo or Bilbao.

Genuinely wish him all the best outside of our games obviously.

I was no fan of his management towards the end but he brought us long awaited silverware (and great silverware at that) and seemed/ seems a really decent bloke.

Be interesting to see what style he does play though, I think he was forced to go defensive with us purely because too many of our players were ****ed to go all gung-ho so I’m expecting a typical high line, high press style which is the polar opposite to Nuno. Milenkovic is one of the best CBs in the league but if he plays a high line, Sels is going to be a very busy keeper!

That connection definitely had an impact I am sure, but I don't think for one minute that he wouldn't have attracted interest from other PL clubs. You only have to look at the 'repeat offenders' who keep getting PL gigs despite a litany of failure. <doh>

But even if you exclude the PL, he would be sought after by a whole raft of clubs around the world. Having a major European trophy on his CV will have more impact than our last disastrous campaign! <laugh>
