Tbph mate I would have thought that was the case with any leader at war in the world. Hence why Putin had to meet up with Trump where he did, so they could guarantee his safety. If you try and strike within a country that might hit you back hard, then you take the risk and consequences that come with that. I'm not chatting from any legal perspective here, just how I personally would see it.
Was just playing devil's advocate tbf mate ... can't see how Israel targeting the Hamas 'peace' negotiations delegation helps the chances of getting the remaining hostages home in one piece ... The cynic in me thinks that Benny is secretly hoping for a Hamas knee-jerk that ends with a dead hostage or two to somehow legitimise / justify the current Gaza City obliteration... ... but can you imagine the reaction if Putin was to take out Zelensky and his team of negotiators in a 'neutral' country location?
I don’t think it’s Israel’s enemies’ respect for borders that has stopped them assassinating Netanyahu. Won’t somebody think of the senior Hamas officials?
Like I said mate, I know Putin had to receive guarantee's before he met Trump. Zelensky can be taken out any time Putin chooses. It all rests on are you happy to take the consequences if you do so. I'm actually surprised that someone hasn't taken out Trump long before now, albeit someone supposedly failed and missed his big ****ing head and shot his ear instead. Obviously I don't condone any such actions as I don't fancy a 2am call with a swat team outside my house lol....but if someone was to do it, I might treat myself to a large glass of Jack Daniels.
Just catching up on the news, strikes were ordered after the Jerusalem attack. Seems fair enough, accountability at the highest level.
A good day for people who expect Israel to take out Hamas with zero civilian casualties in any circumstances, I’d argue.
Not sure what you were answering but I asked how can Qatar be neutral when it is sheltering the leadership from one of the sides?
To be fair I don’t think they’ve ever even feigned neutrality. They’ve been quite open about it down the years.
