So, the Democrats subpoenaed Epstein’s estate for the weird birthday note that Trump said he never wrote - and they have now presented it to Congress. So it does exist. And it is the most **** note I ever saw.

    Anyone still on team Trump?

Must be some great meals in your household with mixtures of the two cuisines of your heritage.

Samosa pizza anyone? Or curried pasta?

I can't stand Pizza. Unfortunately I am always outnumbered and it is often the choice by the fools in my household :D Don;t get me wrong. I love cheese and I love tomato but Pizza is just so stodgy for my tastes, bought, home cooked, in proper italian restaurant. Its a 100% meh.

Pasta depends. If it is the wife boiling it till its white, soft and flavourless then its a nah. With a good sauce (not el cheapo bolognese) and properly done then yeah. love it.........I prefer the creamy pasta dishes to the tomatoey ones though.

To be fair if I make a Pasta or a Curry, there is not a tin in sight and all made fresh…Pasta using my Mum’s recipes and Curry using my Gran’s

Political leanings aside, surely if he had nothing to fear he'd just go "release the files". All this meandering just creates smoke, even if at the end of the day there ends up being no fire.

I am far too lazy to give tomatoes the time they need to properly cook down - even though when I do actually do it it is definitely better. So, I am afraid tinned tomatoes are on my shopping list.

I'm working class and live in a council house. Everything we eat comes from Iceland or Aldi in packets with microwave instructions ;)

Same here. I like to cook basically everything from scratch but draw the line at tomatoes.

Its amazing when you do it but just far too time consuming for me. Maybe if one day I decide I can't be arsed to work anymore.

Although saying that making stock can be just as time consuming and I don't mind doing that.

I only shop at Lidl. It is just down the road… so going somewhere else feels exotic. I sometimes drive to Asda just for the experience!

Bad Boy Boris Bent as a Nine Bob Note.
    https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...-traded-pm-contacts-for-global-business-deals
"A trove of leaked data from Boris Johnson’s private office reveals how the former prime minister has been profiting from contacts and influence he gained in office in a possible breach of ethics and lobbying rules.
The Boris Files contain emails, letters, invoices, speeches and business contracts. They shine a spotlight on the inner workings of a publicly subsidised company Johnson established after leaving Downing Street in September 2022.
The trove reveals how Johnson has used the company to manage an array of highly paid jobs and business ventures. They raise questions for the former Conservative leader about whether he has breached “revolving door” rules governing post-ministerial careers."

It's more than "meandering" - there's been direct interventions and obfuscation. Trump's personal lawyer - dressed up as deputy AG - met with Maxwell and she's now in a Centre Parcs.

I do a fairly edible puttanesca but the tomatoes (and the anchovies) are invariably tinned.

I don't want to be thought picky but I recently got my knuckles rapped for straying from the thread. Have to say my spaghetti alle vongole is bloody good.

Yes, let’s get back to a slice of politics. Are we any closer to a pizza deal in Ukraine or Palestine? A-lasagne, I fear not.

You need tinned anchovies for a puttanesca, they have a stronger flavour than the fresh ones.

Not sure about the toms though

Peter Mandelson once called the late convicted *****phile Jeffrey Epstein his "best pal" – hugely embarrassing, but Epstein’s reputation eventually recovered.
