I always read the Fantasy start 'em, sit 'em pages on the NFL website. Plus look out for the waiver pick up recommendations.
I was 1 yard away from winning £300 In my bet buillder, I had Barkley to score a TD, Hurts 60+ yards rushing, Lamb 90+ yards receiving and Lamb to score a TD. Lamb was pushed out of bounds a yard before the goal line on the opening drive of the game.
Ouch! Lost my first bet of the season too. I had a rushing TD and a passing TD both to happen in the first quarter at 5/1 and it didn't quite happen. Annoyingly close too
The only consolation is I get my stake back as free credit (which is why I put the bet on in the first place) so hopefully I've have more luck on my Sunday evening acca.
Better not be considering the size of bet I have riding on the Saints being the worst team in both forms of football
You would need Southampton to finish bottom of Division 2, New Orleans to go winless, Northampton to bottom the Rugby Union Pyramid, St Helens to go bankrupt in League…There’s even a baseball team called St Paul Saints (but definitely not football related!).
No I just need the New Orleans Saints to be the worst in the nfl. Already won the Southampton Saints being the worst last season, thankfully we beat Derbys record because I asked for odds on us not doing that before the season started and B365 never came back to me.
While the start of the NFL is exciting, it's also bittersweet because 1) it means winter is coming and I ****ing hate winter 2) around this time last I was dating that girl who lived in Cardiff, if you remember all the NFL dating metaphors. I'm watching Bengals v Browns, mainly to see how my fantasy QB (burrow) does. Not very well it seems.
