Speaking of peace,Friday prayers was chaos with around 50 cars trying to get out of a small cul de sac.
Just back from a night out with family in what's laughingly known as Stevenage ''Old Town'' - some half decent boozers and eating establishments but, ''Old Town'' it aint, especially when comparing it to Hulls Old Town; altho, tbf they did warn us beforehand that it wouldn't be as good as the Old Town trips that we've taken them on!
Haha indeed. My brother lives just down the road in Knebworth so I know Stevenage well. The "High Street" in the old town has as you say some decent drink and food options, but that area is only old due to the 'new town' of Stevenage which has a lot of the beauty of the 60's and 70's ahem.
Brother in law and his Mrs are in Graveley, nice village with a little stream running through it, decent pub but, no shop though so if you run out of milk for your cornflakes it's a little blat down the A1 to Sainsbugs!
It’s my old Art teacher from school who has done that. I stopped and chatted to him when he painted the first mural, and he still remembered me after 45 years, he said “ I remember you, good at football but always looking for a fight “, quite touching that he remembered.
I don't think it's as clear as the first one? Debra Stephenson for example, doesn't really look like her?
