With scores as they are, we're the only unbeaten team in the division.:emoticon-0137-clapp

Our next two games are against Stockport away and Bradford at home. Those will be big tests.

We don’t play Stevenage until early December.

Never thought I could ever be so interested in a Doncaster Rovers v Bradford City game.

Now 1-1 after 12 minutes and Bradford look clearly the better side.

How come the reading and stevenage games are shown as postponed, but ours isn't?

I think it's because ours has been rearranged with a firm date, but theirs haven't.

Anyway, now 3-1 to Doncaster at half time and they deserve it. Billy Sharp has still got it.

If it finishes that way, that would be an OK result for us though a draw might have been better.

So Bradford and Stockport both lost - so still top of the pile. <ok>

Watched most of that Doncaster/Bradford game streamed live. Doncaster scored first against the run of play although Bradford looked the better side for the first 20 minutes. After Bradford equalised, Doncaster took over and scored 2 more before half time to make it 3-1 at the break. No goals in a less interesting second half and Doncaster saw it out.

The "ageing" Billy Sharp for Doncaster who got one of them will always be a danger around the box and their No.11 looked as though he could cause problems for anyone - wasn't impressed by Bradford.

Decent game, but on that showing we should beat both of them - but perhaps not at the same time.........<laugh>

Even at this early stage of the season, we're seeing some big games in terms of table positions coming up this weekend.

Whilst we take a trip to Stockport who were unlucky not to get promoted last season, Bradford take on Huddersfield, Stevenage are at Mansfield, yesterday's winners Doncaster are at Wigan, and our fellow relegees Luton and Plymouth battle it out.

Getting my head around this division this past couple of weeks and starting to really enjoy the football - that maybe a lot to do with the fact we're actually starting to play some decent stuff ourselves.........<laugh>

3 points cover 1st to 6th. OK, some have played 6, some 7, and it's still early days, but it couldn't have started much better. Injuries to Eli and Tanner aside.

Winning games is great, playing some entertaining football a big bonus.

Just need some crosses for Youssef to get on the end of now.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Either that, or get Zak to nutmeg the opposition CB's instead.

With the arrival of Kellyman, left side opportunities for Zak may be limited, especially with Willock currently holding the starting spot out there.

Unless he replaces Ashford to start on the right, Zak could just play a "bit part" this season - that is of course unless he starts instead of Salech up top.....<whistle>
