The Chairboys are again at Adams Park after the debacle on Tuesday and we welcome the Stags who have had a good start to the season and sit in the top ten. Obsessive Compulsive Dodds is still in charge but he has brought in an array of loanees lets hope we see some of them. I will be taking my grandson to his first live game poor lad but lets hope he brings us some luck
This club is reminding me of a company I knew. When we were merged with a larger company. I discovered that under the new structure my role was to be split into 7, each with a manager (yes SEVEN) and I was offered one of those posts with a promtion and salary increase. I rejected it and demanded an early retirement redundancy package which eventually they accepted I could take after 6 months. I couldn't stay under that structure; I would have died of frustration and told them so. A case of too many cooks spoil the broth and cost a fortune in the process. What a great result that was, especially as after 3 months I was called back on contract getting more than double what I was being offered to stay. Ended up there for another 3 years. Complete shambles of an organisation. Sounds so familiar
Yes we beat Mansfield twice last seasn, one by a goal Leahy won't ever score again & away at Mansfield when Sam Grace was in charge, just after Blooms left from what I remember of that game I think we wanted it more & played with passion. The games & highlights I have watched so far this season & last season Dodds has taken away any passion. I am also taking my grandson this time.
As I said on a facebook poll showing about 95% in favour of Dodds Out, It's not his fault he was seleted. Maybe the selection process should be examined
Is that a fact? Was it a panel decision (which would protect him to some extent) or was it the owner on Data Dan's recommendation?
That's what i was told by my cousin who has been a season ticket holder for over 30 years he hears what fans are saying in The Frank Adams stand, when he hears anything interesting he sends me texts.
I thought we were on it from the first minute & never let the pace drop, Leahy, Abbott & Huggins were brillant today & the two new strikers never gave Mansfield a minutes peace. Fred won the penalty, it was Huggins winning the ball back & his pass that made the penalty
One win does not make a promotion bid Ron repeat that performance & we would probably win more than we lose. Just remember our last League win was at Bolton 2-0 we went into the last few games full of hope & it was a complete disaster
