Not sure abuse is the right word tbh. Don't see many if any being mean spirited towards him. Just lots that don't particularly rate him. I agree he wasn't at fault for either Watford goal, felt it was silly if anyone blamed him for them. Thought that was more on Saintsweb though.
Some of our supporters are like the right wing media, they must have someone to hate. We always have a player the boo boys like to criticise no matter what they may do. Bazunu is the latest one.
Have a look at any of the responses to any of the posts on Facebook, Instagram or X. They love digging into Bazunu.
Yep, Smallbone has left now so Baz is the latest whipping boy. We can all have different opinions about players but when it becomes obsessive and disrespectful it is very unfair.
It's that old not606 classic where normal discussion is somehow escalated to something people actually haven't said. The best one is when people are expressing disappointment/offering criticism and then told they should just get behind the team as if the two things are mutually exclusive.
Gotcha. I couldn't be arsed to look back. Fair enough. But yes, Bazunu and Downs are the current favourite punchbags. Both unfairly.
Plenty of evidence, but l don't feel the need to justify, what so many others have written, concurring with me. If you can't be bothered to look yourself, l will leave you living in ignorance, which you already seem content to be in.
It’s because based on previous performance Baz is not the best keeper we have at the club, yet he is number 1. He’s had a reasonable start so that may change. If he continues to do well then maybe that justifies him being first choice. We’re only 4 games in, we will see.
Didn’t realise we weren’t playing tomorrow until just now. Hopefully put in a performance after a couple of weeks working on (hopefully) a new formation. Think we’ll probably draw as it will take some time for everything to click, wouldn’t be surprised by a back 5 again either.
