We were ****e before Morgan was captain We've been ****e since he retired. Think I've spotted the issue
Conners, Mckinney and Drissell to miss out? Wish I had remembered to book my car park ticket, so dont know where we willend up. (P.S. grandson had his third and last trial session at CLS last night, so should know soon - how has your lad got on?).
I forgot the car park pass as well but our lass isn't coming through so she is dropping us off and picking us up so I can have a few pints. Just got the email today that he's been asked back for the 3 trial sessions they start the week after next. See how it goes. Good luck to your grandson, hope he gets through
That's great news, fingers crossed for him. I know when my son forwarded me the email I just kept reading it over and over, super proud and almost disbelieving with it being only his second year playing cricket. Don't know if it was the same as your son did last year but on the first session they had them running 3 laps round the running track in 30+°C heat, which he said was hard that some really struggled with. The main thing is that he has said he has enjoyed it and given it his best shot and is already looking forward to next year regardless.
They will definitely do the 3 laps. Durham do it as pre season warm up for the pros when they return after the winter. They put it on youtube last year of them all blowing Said the same to my son, do your best and see what happens. No pressure on him from me, just enjoy it.
Didn't think we were going to chase that down. Their opening batters won the game for them. We never seemed to get going and couldn't find the gaps to get it to the boundary, always seemed to find a fielder and just get 1s or 2s. Beaten by the better team, fair play to Hampshire
Well beaten there tonight. Lost control early, especially after but of a horror spell from Jimmy Neasham. But a really good crowd and a good night.
Was a good turnout and a fair few youngsters in the crowd which was great to see. Nevermind, we look forward to next year....
